Emma

Emma is run by Emma and is a member of Brotherhood.

Biography

  • Full Name: Emma Frost
  • Age: 22
  • Codename: White Queen
  • Family: Malcom Frost - Father, Tilly Frost - Mother, Cadence Frost - Older sister.

Background Information.

Emma was born in Manchester, England. Even while she was younger, she was a rebellious girl. Frost Enterprises was started in the family by her grandfather, and when he retired, it was left within her father's care, who developed it into a technological hardware and software manufacturing company.

The company branched out and there was an American industrial corporation, The Pace Financial Group, that funded and aided Frost, to help bring the company to America. The family migrated to America, when Emma was only 10 years old.

Since coming to New York City, and with the development of her powers in high school, it seemed that her rebellion grew. She managed to gain the attention of her dean and other school authorities numerous times for outbursts and other instances, yet strangely, she graduated on time with her class with a high GPA.

Powers

  • Telepathy (Speaking mentally, reading thoughts, telepathic suggestion)
  • Diamond Form (Skin turns to diamond. Highly resistant against standard blows)

Event Involvement

Storyline

Emma's life was quiet, for the most part, before she was ever outwardly proclaimed as a mutant during the MRA rally. A sophomore at Columbia University with a loft apartment that is paid in full by her financially wealthy parents, who were also helping to pay off her tuition under the circumstances that her grades were well.

After the rally, things changed for her, as people openly recognized her as a mutant from the news. This included Jono, Khenan?, and others. Emma tried to stay below the radar with the whole issue that she was a mutant, but was finding it a bit hard to do as her father was continuously in the news.

Eventually, she decided to give in to her true feelings and senses and not stay behind her facade anymore as the youngest Frost daughter. Instead, she decided to be proud of being a publicly known mutant, despite the mixed reactions she tends to get from others now, good and bad, from both humans and mutants alike.

Emma then ran into Pietro, who too noticed her from the news. He gave her an offer that she couldn't refuse. Membership to the Brotherhood and to fight for something that she was starting to take to heart. Even though she is a member, Emma feels more friendly towards the 'new blood' of the group than those who have been there longer than her and have a higher stature than her.

Since then, things for the woman played out like a yo-yo. Sometimes she had her highs, and at other points she was at her lows. The woman moved on, but was starting to see an increase in hostility with those around her, which included Scott. To help fight against the tide, she recently hired a bodyguard, Adam. Originally, he was only to be with her in public areas to help against approaching hostility from others. Their relationship changed into a strange friendship and now there might be something more at hand.

After the events at the grand opening of the Dark Facade with the Darwinians, Emma saw that she froze up on the spot of danger once more, much like she did in Central Park so many months ago with the MRA Rally. It was her breaking point. The woman had had enough of the lack of control she had. She soon started to push her physical and mental training so that the next time something were to happen, she could at least fight back and not play the typical role of damsel in distress. And that helped when the Brotherhood meeting with the Darwinians went to hell, and she ended up taking two bullets to the stomach by the end of the night.

Since then, she's grown in her confidence, abilities, and emotions. Emma has encountered friends, enemies, lovers, and haters. Despite temporary setbacks, she has always remained on her own two feet and overcame any obstacle she's faced thus far. Unfortunately, she's starting to become ever more jaded with situations she finds herself involved in, but isn't completely lost yet...

Friends

  • Adam - Adam was hired as a bodyguard, originally. The longer they spent time together, the more they grew to know one another until they eventually admitted to sharing similar feelings for each other. Their relationship has been a rocky roller coaster ride and she can easily declare him to be the person she loves to hate. The two ended up falling for one another, even with fights and spats between the two, but eventually they parted ways. Emma can say that Adam's had a great impact on her life.
  • Attrition - Despite being one of the newest members of the Brotherhood, he's certainly proved his worth for being there multiple times. Emma feels that he is the one member in the whole place that knows the most about her, and she doesn't feel as though she ever needs to question his intentions.
  • Betsy - The relationship between Betsy and Emma seems strange. There is a bond with the fact that they are both Brits and mutants, but there is something within the purple haired girl that always has Emma questioning her intentions. But, it is nice to have a female perspective on things for a change when all Emma deals with are males for the most part.
  • Frankie - The two have been friends since their parents decided to merge companies and help one another out about ten years ago. Frankie is her closest friend, the one that Emma confides in, and the first one she ever admitted to being a mutant back when the two were in high school. If there were to be a solid relationship of 'BFF' with anyone, it would be Frankie.
  • Jason - Emma met Jason before he was introduced to the Brotherhood. There's something about him that she admires, his passion and his strength. Having someone at the 'Hood who can change forms like her is also a plus in her book when it comes to training. At the moment, he's the closest one there that she considers a friend.
  • Jono - A fellow Brit, a mutant, and another telepath to boot! Even before Jono helped get Emma out of the sticky situation with the angry mob and her family, Emma felt a closeness to him just out of their similarities alone. Having a friend that you can have 'quiet' telepathic conversations with is definitely a plus.
  • Nikki - The two met one day at the Rec Center and seemed to become friends almost instantly. The two share a love for trouble, but haven't really acted out on any of it yet. Emma did provide the girl with her phone number and a promise to bail her out of tough situations though when it came to her budding record label deal. Nikki discovered that Emma was special during the Dark Facade opening, before the chaos.
  • Pietro - After their meeting and the offer he gave for her to be within the Brotherhood, Emma considers Pietro a friend, especially since he was the one that recruited her. The two shared a momentary bit of weakness with one another, which ended up with a kiss and an argument soon following afterwards. She was able to suck up her pride, eventually, and apologize to him months later. The two seem to be back to their old ways again.

Enemies

  • Scott - Scott has proven that not all mutants can be friendly with one another. Even upon their first meeting, he constantly confused her with his words and actions. It only took two meetings for things to quickly escalate into a physical encounter, which included a punch to Emma's face.

Themesongs

This character seriously has too many songs that remind me of her... Having 3 up on her +finger is pushing for lack of room as it is, so I made this section to geek out on.

  • Chris Cornell - "Can't Change Me"
  • Cold - "Suffocate"
  • Crazy Town - "Sorry"
  • Evanescence - "Snow White Queen"
  • Garbage - "Metal Heart"
  • Jack Off Jill - "When I am Queen"
  • Muse - "Bliss"
  • OK GO - "A Million Ways"
  • Sirenia - "My Mind's Eye"
  • RA - "The Only One"

  • Brotherhood Members
  • Friends
  • Conflict oriented scenarios/characters
  • Fun and Adventurous RP!

Notes

My incarnation of Emma is different. She isn't the manipulative prude as of yet. My version of Emma is from her younger years while still a teenager, her spin off comic series. She's a whole lot more emotional, and confused. The younger version is also still trying to get used to new aspects of her life - learning about her powers, dealing with her family's deceitful ways, and trying to make a name for herself without getting caught in the fray of human/mutant relations.

Overall, she's interesting in this perspective, at least to me. So, before you judge blindly, have a scene with her. There is no place that is too low class for her to journey to, and she's quite adventurous and fun.
