Kurt

Kurt is a member of Xavier's School and the X-Men.

Biography

• Family: Margali Szardos - Foster Mother

            Mystique - Biological Mother (though he is as yet unaware of this)

Not much is known about Kurt's past. He has mentioned life in a circus to a few people - that, at least, seems to be something he doesn't mind sharing. In fact, one shouldn't get him started on that topic unless they want to hear a lot of pleasant reminiscing. Even if he doesn't talk much about most of his past, those who know him well are aware of his gentle nature and leanings toward movie geekery.

Kurt is currently teaching Gymnastics at Xavier's School and runs the Excalibur Fencing Club as an extra-curricular activity. Right now, however, his classes have been taken over by a sub and the club has been suspended because Kurt has gone missing along with a number of other mutants...

Powers

Most obvious are Kurt's physical mutations. In addition to being covered in soft blue fur he has sharp, fang-like canines, luminescent yellow eyes that lack visible pupils, and a prehensile tail with a spaded tip. He has two fingers and a thumb on each hand and two toes plus a jointed, toe-like protrusion on the heel of each foot - the perfect aids for gripping.

Beyond his physical mutations, Kurt has been gifted with line of sight teleportation; as long as he can a.) see his target or b.) implicitly knows where he is going insofar as he can visualize it, he can transport himself there amidst a burst of bright magenta smoke, a flash of light and a *BAMF!*. He can transport a limited number of passengers with him on his 'ports... as long as they can withstand the overwhelming scent of brimstone and a bit of motion sickness.

Another result of his mutation, Kurt can stick to walls, ceilings and other surfaces at will. It is perceived that this ability is caused by a conscious manipulation of the electrical fields created between his soft fur and the surfaces, thus intensifying the atoms' natural pull.

Kurt's eyes allow him to see infallibly in complete darkness. In conjunction with his ability to move almost soundlessly, this enables him to move about undetected after dark. Perhaps as an outwardly visible result of the internal processes that allow him to see in darkness, his eyes seem to give off a soft glow - insignificant in normal lighting but quite noticeable in the darkness. Working in conjunction with this is his ability to blend with deep shadows - to become virtually transparent within them.

In addition to the above, Kurt also has enhanced flexibility, agility and reflexes.

Storyline

Though Kurt has been involved with a fair amount of the goings on on the game for my own convenience I'll list the most recent stuff.

• Mutant Kidnappings - At first Kurt was just concerned about the recent disappearances and had planned to look into them with the help of Laura, Rahne and Jean?. But recently he and Ralph inadvertently met the kidnappers, working with Julian to foil the kidnapping of a little girl and narrowly escaping capture themselves.

And now Kurt seems to have vanished, along with Laura and Wesley. More on this later. I promise... :) (Mwahaha.) Until then, though, GO LOOK FOR HIM!!

Friends and Enemies

Too many to count... Let's see if I can try.

• Wesley - A fellow Xavierite and friend.
• Ash - He first met the girl when she was being mugged in a dark alleyway and he soon learned that she isn't to be trifled with.
• Alison - When Kurt first met the rock star she was drunk and queasy but still managed to stand up to the thugs that were hassling Ash.
• Rahne - X-Men Teammate and fellow book enthusiast. Rahne and Brianna found Kurt in Central Park which had become his home immediately after arriving in NYC.
• Xavier - Kurt is deeply in debt to Charles Xavier as he gave him both a home and a new family. Additionally, Xavier gave Kurt his image inducer, which has proved invaluable.
• Ralph - Though he hasn't spent /too/ much time around the boy, he likes him well enough. He's seen what he can do when his powers kick into gear, thanks to the men who attacked them in Clinton. (See MutantKidnappings for a link to the log!)
• Laura - That angry girl. Still, Kurt is trying to befriend the teenager and show her that there are those willing to help her. And some of them won't lay it on too strong in the process.
