Comments:
- I've poked a Nickname(s) field and an Other Memberships field into Jean's bio. The latter is to identify a membership outside of the on-grid teams. A personal addition. I've been pondering, tho: the first field - might that be base template-worthy? -- Jean
- I like the nicknames field. I added something similar to some theme pages: the aka line below the page title. I think it's both fun and useful -- especially for newbies trying to translate logs to get an idea what's going on. -Nikki
- My favorite thing I've dont on my character page is the event involvement section. I like the idea of other players being able to keep track of what events my character is most interested in and what angles she's already investigated. -Nikki
- I like what you've done there, myself. Très spiffy idea. :) -- Jean
- Also, I've been involved in situations where a roleplay notes section would have been really handy. Since the little buttons you can push are different from character to character, I think this works better on character pages than player pages. -Nikki
- I've added a birthday field for my own characters up in the bio section. Just using their +birthday dates. I'm thinking of linking it to their astrological profiles or something. Don't know if anyone else might want to do that too. rogue
- Ooh, fun! I love the astrology angle. We can do a page for each sign, with a summary of its characteristics, a list of PCs who belong to that sign, and a link to compatible and incompatible signs. -Nikki
- Oh, that'd be cool, yeah, making our own pages for it. Took me forever to find a linkable site that did the sign profiles, but it's still not great, very ad-heavy. Maybe someone a little more knowledgeable in this area want to give it a whirl? I'd just have to crib from the web. rogue
- Alas, I'd be a cribber myself. But maybe we can crib now and get someone to post more seriously-researched stuff later? -Nikki
- I could do this, given time. Always been into Astrology from a young age. So... if peeps gimme thier b-days for thier charas I could do it but it'd probably be easier to just make up the Astrological charts and let people Edit it and add thier characters themselves. - Pat
- I'm inviting people to use this space to make suggestions for what people can add to their personal templates, or instructions for cool things you've discovered in making your own character page. If you want to see a change to the base template, just hit 'edit page' and add away. - Paradigm
