Biography
- Full Name: Wade Wilson
- Age: 35
- Codename: Deadpool
- Family: Jessica Wilson (mother - alive), Robert Wilson (father - alive)
Wade grew up in Flynn, Texas. His life was seemingly normal, and he was the typical jockey type in high school, but after he graduated, he went into the Army to serve for his country. Eventually, Wade was able to become a qualified Army Ranger, one of the very hard honors to achieve.
He was sent out to the Iraqi war, and during a hostage situation, Wade and his Army Ranger regiment were sent in. Unfortunately, Wade didn't make it out of the building in time when a bomb went off that almost caused the building to topple onto him.
His body was broken and he was burned nearly all over his body. After being sent to an emergency medical facility, Wade was forced to heal and mend his broken body before he could do anything else.
While at the hospital, he would have night terrors of his service within the Army. He would also end up screaming in agonizing pain from his wounds. The doctors had to do something. They decided to push to try an expiremental drug on Wade to help relieve his pain. A supposed magic pill that was still in testing, non FDA approved, and was supposed to help even the most shell shocked soldier return to normal society with no repercussions...
It all went downhill from there... He's now living in New York and has taken the mantle of a human vigilante that is trying to stop the 'Mutant Menace'.
Powers
Wade is a human and therefore has no powers.
Event Involvement
Wade was involved in the riot that occurred down at the Dark Facade club, and he made his debut by showing up as the lovable vigilante - Deadpool! That was before he started to shoot random people though.
Storyline
It all started in Central Park. Handing out fliers to support the MRA, he encountered Maddie, who he has now nicknamed Jasmine, and to him is the only 'sand monkey' he'd ever tolerate interacting with, even if she does drive like a maniac.
He helped her pick out a kitten from a local pet shop, which was given the cute and cuddly name of 'Cujo'. Unfortunately, she was unable to care for the feline where she lives, and he agreed to watch it until she moved... Thus far, that kitten is tearing his apartment apart and it is surprisingly still alive!
He also encountered Caitlin and Varity? while at a clothing shop - and was seemingly shot down of his hot sexiness by the two.
Then, Wade encountered Marrow - The first obvious mutant that he has encountered so far, which sent his body and mind reeling. The two fought as he tried to take her in to a local police station to get registered, but he ended up losing.
Lately, after all the insanity with the Darwinians and attacks dealing with mutants, Wade decided to stay prepped for anything. That readiness worked out perfectly, as he got thrown into the mix of the riot down at the Dark Facade and had his costumed alter ego ready to go! Sadly though, halfway through, he was distracted by a lumbering bear known as Adam, and ended up getting shot in the arm by Norton for not dropping his weapon. And then Deadpool took off, running and screaming like a little girl.
A few days later, he encountered Norton in a bar, and admitted to him that he was the crazed vigilante. Wade found out that the man is a mutant, but since he's a cop as well, he's letting it slide.
Friends and Enemies
- Maddie - aka Jasmine - The two met in Central Park while Wade was handing out pro-MRA fliers. Strangely enough, the two started talking and Maddie continued the encountered even with Wade harassing puppies and talking about granny panties. Due to her nationality and her being a Princess, he nicknamed her Jasmine. And he is her Abu.
- Marrow - aka Jack Skeleton - These two got off to a strange start. It started with a rat being shot by Wade, to a fight between Marrow and him, since she was a mutant. A strange turn happened then when he broke her nose and it healed, causing Wade to start ranting about how he would love a power like that. He let her go (for now) and the two parted on terms where no more blood was shed. A good sign, at least.
- Norton - No nickname yet - Even though the cop shot him in the arm at the riot, Wade seems surprisingly civil with him, aside from his sexual innuendos and strange jokes. No doubt that Wade grinds a nerve of Norton's, but he's at least opened the man's mind to considering that the justice system is broken.
Wanted
What is a great vigilante without a sidekick?! Honestly, I am open to any ideas.
Notes
Wade is more of an insane ranting human than he is a Merc, or vigilante in this case. He will go off on how mutants are evil, need to register themselves, yadda yadda - but it will never last for more than 5 minutes. He is not a character intent on bashing. He is a character that is simply insane. And yes, I do plan on having him as screwy as he is within *most* of his comics. :)
