Canon is a term used to refer to information, storylines, and facts from the original source of our theme. In this case, it refers primarily to the comics, though the movies and cartoons can be said to have their own canon as well.
Because we are Year One, we do not insist upon any pre-established canon, and a number of our characters and storylines borrow from the different canonical sources available, or are entirely original in nature.
