X-Men: Evolution (also known simply as Evo) ran from 2000-2003 and put a new spin on the comics. Its look and feel were heavily influenced by the movies as it was designed to market upon the first movie's appeal.

Evo featured the X-Men? as teenagers still in high school. Unlike in the comics and movie where Xavier's mansion was also school to the X-Men, in Evo, the students lived there while attending public high school at Bayfield High?. The members of the Brotherhood? also attended Bayfield while living together in a boarding house.
