Dream House

The Dream House Youth Center is located in Chelsea. It is a renovated two-story brownstone. The Dream House is a non-profit, privately funded facility. It's purpose is to give a place where kids and teens can come to feel safe and welcome. It also offers medical and phychological treatment, career and educational counseling and short term housing and foster care. It has been open in New york since the summer of 2009.

The Dream House is run by Mercedes Aisling and accepts volunteers to work with the center, as counselors, administrative assistance, and medical interns.
