How To

To create a new character page:

1. Go to the Movies page and choose the edit page option from the top or bottom. You may need to navigate more specifically to X-Men, X2, or The Last Stand
2. Add * [[The character name]] to the bottom of the list of characters, then save the page. Make sure to add it correctly to the new or returning characters list.
   • If you are adding the character to the central cast list on the main page, use the format: * [[actor name]] as [[character]]
3. Click on the new link that is created with the character name (it should have a ? beside it).
4. When you get to the edit screen, you can type in the contents for your page. You may want to use our template if you don't know where or how to start.
5. Save your page.

Tips and Tricks

1. To create a link to another character from the movie, just include that character name in brackets.
   • For example: He is a friend of [[Xavier]]'s.
     becomes: He is a friend of Xavier's.
2. To link to a power description from our powers pages, include Powers/ before the name of the power.
   • For example: He has the power of [[Powers/telepathy]].
     becomes: He has the power of telepathy.
3. To link to a power description but use another term in the link text, make the link like described above, but put a | and then the text you would like to link before you close the brackets.
   • For example: He is a [[Powers/telepathy|telepath]].
     becomes: He is a telepath.
