Between the Lines is XMR's new bi-monthly newsletter which will help us (the staff) keep you (the players) informed, but also allows you a voice. What are we looking for? Here are some suggestions:

Featured Site

Got a favourite website that you use for inspiration, help or other input for playing here or creating a character? Feel it might benefit your fellow XMRers to know about it? Drop us a line with the link and we'll check it out. Or, do the write-up yourself and you'll get credit for it!

Feedback Loop

Not sure about how to do something in the wiki? Have an opinion? Don't know how to do something on the game? Looking for a particular piece of code that we don't seem to have? Want to give special kudos to a favoured staff member? Any other questions? Let us know! This is your space to talk to staff.

Classifieds

Have any IC messages between characters (birthday wishes, engagement announcements, etc.) or want to advertise for a local business, something your character is selling or looking to buy, tutoring, concerts, special events, etc.? This is the spot for these things!

Or, perhaps you have OOC messages such as birthday greetings, shout-outs to OOC friends on-game, kudos to good RPers here, ads for characters or concepts you'd like to see played here, other games you'd like to bring to people's attention, etc. That can go here too!

Calling All Artists and Writers!

Fancy yourself a budding author and you'd like to try your hand at article writing for the newsletter? No problem! We're looking for articles to help people with integrating into XMR's theme and setting, with roleplaying in general and even write-ups about favourite spots on the grid! Or, if you're more of an artist, we'd love to feature some of your works!

SUBMISSIONS

All submissions should be @mailed to *EDITOR on-game. If you have images you'd like to include or you'd like us to feature your artwork (please be sure it's X-Men themed and 'work-safe'), please include the image URL at the bottom of the @mail message. All images should be in .jpg or .gif format. Please note that images may be edited for size and web optimization.

It should be noted that as with any publication, some submissions may be withheld either for content or due to repetition. Please make sure to spellcheck, grammar check and edit your own work PRIOR to submitting. Items with too many issues to fix may be sent back and excluded from the issue.

SUBMISSIONS DEADLINES: The submissions deadlines for each new issue will be one week before the release date. Release dates are as follows (for example): January 1, March 1, May 1, July 1, etc. Anything received after the deadline the week before, depending on the size and any time-sensitivity issues may be withheld until the next issue.
