Biography
- Name: Mike
- Birthday: Old habits prevent me from giving out too much info about myself... I'm 21 though.
- Location: New England
- MUSH Experience: Lots and lots of non-MUSH RP under my belt, much of it text-based, but XMR is my first MUSH. Still, there are lots of similarities between this and some of the other RP I've done.
- OtherMU*: Er... no other MU* per se, but I play on the Immortal Vigilance website for White Wolf games...
- Alts: Ralph, Plain, Norton
- RP Preferences: I like a lot of different things. I love comedy in a scene, even if there's something serious going on. But I think what I like more are extended story arcs wherein characters grow and get to know one another - and themselves - better as a result. Conflict is always fun, as long as it stays IC. I believe in playing characters literally to a fault, even if staying true to your character means their death or disadvantage. Of course, maybe this is because I love creating new characters and thus would have the sting of losing a character offset by being able to make a new one!
- RP Dislikes: Players taking RL offense at IC actions. Players who can't allow their PCs to come off looking bad or "wrong" every once in awhile. Also, too much "small talk" RP... while small talk is an important step in characters getting to know one another, I start to get weary of it after awhile, although I confess to often being at a loss for how to make the scene progress past small talk. Just because I dislike it doesn't mean I'm good at avoiding it!
I'm a long-time online RPer who's always on the lookout for new experiences. XMR's my first MUSH, but I'm enjoying it a lot, and can't wait to get my characters further entrenched in the goings-on of the XMR world. See you on the grid!
