Biography

  • Birthday: April 6, 1982
  • Location: Southern California, USA
  • MUSH Experience: MUSHing since December 31, 2001 (yes, I still remember my MUSHday!), first on Elendor as a hobbit, then on XMR; minimal chatroom experience previous to 2001. I've also staffed on a couple games.

ICA = ICC - Simply, if your character does something, expect my characters to react. If your character does something to annoy Pietro, don't be surprised when he tells you off for it, for example. Just accept responsibility for your characters' actions. :)
Character building conflict - Because conflict can be /awesome/. :D It can shape characters and help bring out facets that the players have previously overlooked. Plus, it's just damned fun to run characters up against each other from time to time.
Humour - Anyone who knows me knows that 1.) I'm a geek at heart and 2.) I /love/ getting my characters into humourously uncomfortable situations. If there's room for funny in the scene, I'm usually game for letting that loose.

Overall, nearly anything goes, though, as long as it follows the aforementioned accountability rule. If I'm uncomfortable, I'll ask for an FTB (though I haven't yet).

  • RP Dislikes: One liners, Power-posing, scenes of more than 4 or 5 characters (as it becomes difficult to interact meaningfully), IC/OOC confusion, poses entirely composed of internal dialogue.

Hi. I'm an artist, specifically an illustrator, and I draw compulsively. Which, really, isn't so much of a bad thing. I have an SO, no kids and, currently, no pets. (Until this year, I had a very sweet St. Bernard.) I'm also a college grad - as of... this May! Woot!

I've been a comic fan - especially of the X-Men titles (and the first run of Excalibur!) - since fourth grade and, though I haven't counted lately, I probably have well over a thousand issues. I'm big on the movie adaptations - most of them, at any rate - as well as nearly anything in the horror and (dark or general) comedy department. A short list of favourites would probably read something like this: Nightmare Before Christmas, Sin City, the LOTR series, Pirates of the Carribean (1&2), Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Spider-Man 2, Ed Wood, /all/ of the Harry Potter movies, Shaun of the Dead and so on and so on... I'm also an avid B-Movie buff (as you might have guessed from the inclusion of Ed Wood in the above list). Favourites in that gene include: Plan Nine From Outer Space (of course!), The Brain From Planet Arous, Robot Monster, Teenagers From Outer Space and Wild Guitar.

I'm a music-lover and my interests span the gamut (from Sex Pistols to Johnny Cash to... Gregorian Chant). I don't play any instruments at the moment but I'm fascinated by music analysis, particularly in the realm of rock and other popular genres.

I'm sure I'll be adding more as I think of it, but... That's me!
