Several mutants seem to have their powers inspired by a certain type of animal. These powers usually are a parcel of other powers, and often include strength?, speed?, heightened senses?, or physical enhancements.
In some cases, the mutant may take on some physical mutations to closer resemble the animal by which their powers are inspired. This should not be confused with metamorphs who can shift from one form to the other, though metamorphs may also take on animalistic traits.
