Mutants with the power of flight have the ability to lift themselves from the ground without the aid of flying machines. Some do this by manipulating forces of the earth, such as magnetism or gravity, while others can use telekinesis to lift themselves. Of course, some mutants grow wings as part of a physical mutation and these wings grant them the ability of flight.
