Metamorphs are closely linked to shapeshifters, but are here used to specify those who can only shift into one or more specific shapes, most often animal form. Metamorphs can usually shift between their available forms at will. Some forms also come with other enhancements, like animalistic abilities, speed, strength, or heightened senses. However, they can sometimes cause the metamorph to take on less pleasant aspects as well.
