All About Ash's Player

There's really not much to say, since I'm a bit of a private person. I like messing around with web graphics, enjoy horror movies and comic book movies and decided to try my hand at MUSHing again after taking quite a hiatus. Here are a few other pieces of info which you may or may not find to be useful:

My Character(s)

Currently, my only character is Ash! I'm still trying to hear her 'voice' in my head a little better, but one scene isn't going to cut it. I appreciate everyone's patience as I sort her out! :)

Online Times

My times vary due to RL commitments but I'll do what I can to be around as much as possible. If you're interested in snagging me, either page me or @mail to set up a date/time!

Logs and Logging

I'm notoriously bad at reading other people's logs, but feel free to log and post. If I object to a log being posted, I'll tell you OOCly at some point in the game. I do log every scene I'm in and try to post as much as I can. If this is a problem, please tell me. I'll try to check +finger information about logging preferences, but feel free to tell me directly if you'd rather a log wasn't posted.

RP Preferences

Scene Size: I prefer small scenes with only a couple of people over large scenes, mostly because I haven't MUSHed in so long and my RL can sometimes intrude and interrupt on my RP time.

Posing Preferences: I tend to pose in paragraph style, rather than rapid-fire 1-2 liner style with occasional editorial statements sewn throughout. I also attempt to use proper spelling, grammar and punctuation, though as I was never an English major, this will only be so good. While I don't consider myself to be elitist, I do prefer RP partners who have the same or similar sort of style, but only have issues with spelling and grammar if the other person's poses are too confusing as a result (I can usually read through typos easily enough).

Content: Meaty RP that I can really chew on is going to really rock my socks over random cafe chatter, but even random cafe chatter can sometimes have its place in the RP universe. ;) Swearing? Doesn't bother me. Graphic or violent in nature? Bring it on; I was reading Stephen King at the age of ten. Sexual? I'll probably ask for an FTB (fade to black) at some point, as the actual act of RPing out TS is often times boring as all hell; the fallout is so much more interesting to me! Basically, if I get uncomfy, I'll mention something and we can work things out.

OOC vs IC

I do like to keep a semi OOC/IC masquerade of sorts (to coin a phrase from my WoD days). I prefer informationa bout my character to be divulged ICly when it is appropriate. I don't mind talking about characters to some degree, but I like to have my secrets. ;)

I also don't tend to talk about my RL too much. It's nothing personal, but having been stalked more than once online, I tend to keep things to a minimum.

I'm sure I'll add stuff down the road. This is it for now. :)
