X-Men: Retribution currently has four active teams. Xavier's mansion is home to the students of Xavier's School (a private high school) and the Xavier Institute (a training program for older mutants). It is also home to the secret X-Men team. The Brotherhood, based on Staten Island, pursue their own goals. There are also those who choose to remain independent.
